Dayan Dovid Dunner Shlita was appointed as Rov of the Beis Hamedrash after the Petira of Dayan Ehrentreu zt”l. Dayan and Rebbetzen Dunner, together with their children, have been a part of the Beis Hamedrash since its inception.

Dayan Dunner was brought up in Stamford Hill, went to Gateshead Yeshiva and then Ponevezh Yeshiva. He received Semicha whilst still a Bochur from the esteemed Dayan Weiss zl; the Rosh Beis Din of Eida Chareidis of Yerushalayim, from Reb Leib Gurvitz zl; the Gateshead Rosh Hayeshiva and from Reb Bezalel Rakow zl the late Gateshead Rov. After his marriage he learnt in Gateshead Kollel giving shiurim in Yeshiva Ketana and also the daily Daf Hayomi shiur to the Kehilla.

In 1985 they moved to London on his appointment as menahel of Pardes Grammar School. He has been giving a wide range of shiurim including the weekly Gemoro shiur in the Beis Hamedrash for the last 25 years and in 2019 Dayan Dunner took over as Maggid Shiur of the daily Daf Hayomi shiur which has grown into a very popular and well attended shiur as well as giving shiurim in Yeshivas Chayei Olam. Subsequently he was appointed Rosh Beis Din of the Golders Green Choshen Mishpot Beis Din of the UOHC.

Rebbetzen Rikky Dunner is a much sought after Kallah teacher and is involved in many chesed organisations including Hachnosas Kallah, delivering care packages to patients in hospital over Shabbos, and is a member of the United Synagogue Chevra Kadisha. She is also a highly sought after and respected labour support coach.
